A Week of Workforce Development

0 March 3, 2014  Construction Training

Workforce development shouldn’t stop for those people who already are a part of the construction industry. That’s why Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is offering its week-long Workforce Development Conference, April 29-May 2 in Birmingham, Ala.

This conference combines popular and forward-thinking educational sessions, an interactive exhibit hall, networking events, and the National Craft Championships (NCC) into one awesome week that will help you hone your skills, get new ideas and watch some of our best craftworkers show off their talents.

With energizing keynote speakers and more than 40 concurrent sessions on a range of topics, there are plenty of learning opportunities—but for those of you who have never seen the National Craft Champions in action, be prepared for one of the most inspiring events the construction industry has to offer.

This year nearly 180 competitors will face off against each other in a hands-on competition to discover who is the top in their craft. Check out last year’s competitors at nationalcraftchampionships.org and see what exciting crafts this year will hold or view the video below:

Early-bird registration for the conference ends March 7. Register now and save $100.
