NCCER and ABC Working Together to Promote Careers in Construction
NCCER announced in a press release on Aug. 27, that the organization is partnering with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Trimmer Construction Education Foundation to offer the Build Your Future (BYF) scholarship to students interested in pursuing a career in construction. The partnership amounts to $100,000 in scholarships for the next five years to individuals that are interested in completing craft training through an NCCER accredited program or a state or federally approved apprenticeship program.
“We are honored to have the continued support from NCCER and BYF,” said Michael Bellaman, president and CEO of ABC. “The Build Your Future Scholarship supports our mission of attracting young men and women to our industry and training them to become skilled craft professionals. It is partnerships like these that solidify the future of the construction industry.”
