Students in Cleveland schools are getting the opportunity to learn about careers in construction through a partnership between the ABC Northern Ohio Chapter and WVIZ, the Cleveland affiliate for PBS.  As part of their web-based “Careers Exploration Series,” a PBS moderator engaged a panel of industry experts to talk to high school students to highlight the fantastic career opportunities available in the construction industry.  The program also gave tips on getting started with a training program and, through the live webcast connection, allowed students to ask questions from their classrooms.

In coming months, stay tuned for additional webcasts from the “Careers Exploration Series” that will dig into greater detail about specific trades and career paths in the industry.
